You are absolutely allowed to think that and suggest it, but if the conception of knowledge and information (and I really do think you need to explain what you mean by that in terms of epistemology) have changed in fundamental ways then a lot of learning theory will need tearing up. Now, that's no bad thing, but you had better have some serious data if you want to convince people that you're not just building the next bandwagon.
