Whilst the fact is correct, I'm not sure it's the saying the right thing
It's taken me a while to respond to this, but I don't think I agree with the inference that things are bad if teachers are losing ICT confidence. Because I think what the research is revealing is that ICT isn't a skill which can be mastered once, and that's it, because no sooner have we mastered something, than it changes. So I think the real story is that teacher competence is increasing steadily (think what an average teacher does now with ICT, compared to 10 years ago) even though statistically the research says they are losing confidence.
