Incompetent politicians? surely not!
I was one of the people who pestered Merlin to try get some clarity on these issues, so thanks for publishing this. I think it's important to have transparency, especially when transparency shows dashes of incompetence. I did a blog post surrounding the conservative education policy, in fact if you google conservative education policy I'm on the first page which goes to show how little content they have not only with regards to ICT but to education as a whole. Here is my blog post: http://mclear.co.uk/2010/02/28/the-conservative-education-policy-is-lead-by-the-wrong-person/ Why the conservative party doesn't have a clear message on this I have no idea, the sector employs thousands of people and is part of Britain's economic growth. Obviously not important enough... Merlin, have you now finished investigating the conservative policies on ICT in education? Are we basically concluding that the conservative party doesn't want to talk much about ICT in education? Have you got anything back from the Lib Dems and/or Labour (and we probably shouldn't forget the Green party)...
