Lots of interesting ideas here. However you might with to think carefully before you "Take control of your Internet connection". Naturally sensible to check which parts of the total package you need and ask whether you can do better, but do be careful you can provide what is required for learning or safeguarding. Can the commercial provider really offer 25 Mbps uncontended to the secondary school? Is their latency below 20 ms RTT?, what is their time to restore service after a break? Does the commercial supplier provide 2 Mbps, symmetric, uncontended to the rural primary school? The RBC broadband services generally do these things, I have the data to prove it!
