They came under the BETT 2008 spotlight through the BETT award for 2Paint a Picture but 2Simple also bowled over show visitors with its new design and DTP powerhouse 2Publish+.
True to the simple benchmark, it's a program that makes it possible - and quick - for young pupils and teachers to create all sorts of designs and the kind of leaflets and flyers that can compete with professionally produced artefacts for classroom wall space (pictured with 2Simple's Katie Hart above). A range of extremely smart templates put all sorts of shapes and leaflets within users' reach without having to use complicated routines. They can be done using mouse-drawn images or imported ones, and the results look just as good if not better than those from "professional" programs.
A full review will appear shortly. A school licence for 2Publish+ costs £299 and a single licence £39
