One of the architects of the government's successful new Learning And Technology World Forum, is recuperating after a health setback. Doug Brown, the well-known expert consultant with government ICT agency Becta, who was formerly head of the technology futures department with the DCSF, suffered a stroke.
It is understood that he has been moved from a specialist stroke ward in the Midlands and is now on the mend at a rehabilitation ward.
